Chris Mayfield is a strategic commercial leader with more than twenty years of experience delivering growth across organisations ranging from early‑stage ventures to established £200m businesses. His career has centred on building disciplined commercial structures, shaping go‑to‑market strategy and supporting senior teams through periods of expansion and organisational change.

He has spent the past decade as a trusted advisor in corporate governance and board performance, with extensive experience in FCA and SRA‑regulated environments and strong exposure to venture capital, private equity, family offices and investment management in general. He is the Founder of BoardBridge Capital and ESG Compass Compliance.

More recently has sat on the board on a number of UK companies, helping to ensure good governance and operational stability to growing reputable businesses.

Chris' work is underpinned by formal qualifications in corporate finance regulation, ESG, governance and strategic leadership, providing a solid foundation for board‑level oversight and decision‑making.

He has led multi‑disciplinary teams across three continents, implemented GTM strategies, and doubled revenue in multiple business units for both tech and service led businesses.

This is further supported by a broad international book of contacts to help international businesses and investor enter new markets with greater clarity, reduced friction and a stronger understanding of their risks and opportunities.
